I totally agree with you and this would be a valid argument/suggestion if the game didn't "automatically" update. I've been given no choice as to whether I wanted to chance the new version.
The suggestion to check out Point 2 of the FAQ does not seem to be working for anyone, including me. This seems to be a fault buried somewhere within the update rather than a tweak that we need to apply to all our individual computers. Or.... it is simply an insufficient answer to the tweaks that are needed.
After
many hours of struggling because it kept crashing "Java(TM) platform SE
binary has stopped working", the only fault is because of the
intergrated intel graphic card. If your computer has 2 card, for example
a Intel onboard card and a Nvidia card, you just need to Disable the
Oboard card. Do like this ( win 8.1):
+ Right click on "My
computer" icon > Manage > device manager > display adapter >
( right click on the Intel Onboard card) > Properties > Driver
> Disable > Apply > Ok.
That's it, because no other
way have worked. I tried to update both of my Graphic cards, in vain.
"Debugging by Visual studio", nah. Re-install, nope. Turn on VBO, giving
the computer 2 GB RAM, still not working. Believe me, the only way left
is to disable the Onboard graphic card if you have a better Graphic
card. It's not a great sacrifice anyway.
ps: it's funny when
it crash even when I played as older update, like 1.9.4, so after
updateto 1.10, even if you play it or not, if it crash on your 1.10 then
it will crash on all of your older builds.
When ever i try to play on a world or on a server inside a server (idk what those are called), the game crashes.
Here's a picture of what it "crashes to"-
So i don't know if that picture uploaded by that dash (i highly doubt it actually did), but however can anybody help?
Thanks,
Jakob

Well, from my experience with snapshots it seems that
they are VERY unstable. So if you don't like games crashing
I wouldn't play on 1.10 until it fully comes out.

You had the same crash report as mine. Care to give it a try?
Dude, thanks for trying to help me, but it automatically updates, so that's not gonna work.
