So, just so you guys know, all of these worlds were made in the 1.8 update so these aren't old worlds. After I heard about the new 1.9 update, I quickly went on Minecraft and loaded up one of my most detailed worlds (bad idea) then suddenly the terrain started changing rapidly, and large dis-morphed animals started spawning and freaking out. I have no mods installed in my game so I know that it wasn't because of mods. All I could see that wouldn't change was the outline of the blocks that were near me. After 45 minutes, nothing had changed. So I had the idea that if I killed myself then the world would go back to normal (another bad idea). So I remember that before the update I had slept in my biggest, most detailed house that I have ever built. So after I killed myself the world indeed turned back to normal, but I was back at the original spawn. All my other worlds have this same issue. Can anyone help me understand what this is and how to fix it?
This happens to me quite often, it's just a visual glitch. Usually closing and re-starting Minecraft (from the launcher) fixes it.
For me it usually happens either when I change the render distance, or opening a world after playing on a world in the same session. I find it really bothersome since now I have to close the game and wait for it to re-open just to switch worlds, or the re-log. But if your game goes to the spaz-land every single time, I have no idea.
Thanks, but this weird glitch happens on every single world every single time. Even when I get one world working, the next time I want to play it, it glitches again. But thanks again!

So basically, I'm stupid.
