Alright, so let me break this situation down. (I have a legal copy of Minecraft, just to let you know.)
I could never play Minecraft due to poor computers in the past, but now I have the graphics card to run plenty of games, and I want to get into Minecraft. Problem is, the game looks pretty bad. And I mean bad.
Here's a few screenshot links so you know what I mean:
Here's my computer information: The graphics card (GPU) is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 SC, and it runs other games that are much more graphically intensive than Minecraft at upwards of 60fps. My processor is an Intel Core-i7 4790. If for some reason you need this information, I'm using Windows 10. Some help would be much appreciated, as I really don't want to be stuck with a game that looks like...that.
Any thanks would be much obliged.
Oops, those links don't work. I'll fix it in a second.
It's like my anti-aliasing is turned down, but I have it maxed out in my graphics card settings. I even tryed getting a texture pack, but I noticed the same thing
It's like I don't have my anti-aliasing turned up.
What I'm specifically talking about is the fact that edges and sprites are pixilated or look like they have a stair-step effect when looking at them.

For some reason it won't let me edit in screenshots directly, so I'll have to do it this way.
Try turning up render distance. Is it the fog that you think is causing this?
You'll have to be more specific. I don't see anything wrong.
