Hi, I'm jjspider and I was wondering if I copied my .minecraft folder and then put it I my other windows 7 account it would save everything I have including the servers I have added. I am sorry if this might be the wrong section, I couldn't find one for soothing like this. I already tried searching it on the internet so I thought I might ask someone else.
Yes, it'll work. I've kept the same .minecraft folder through about 4 different Windows installs (let's just say that I mess with stuff I probably shouldn't), transferring to and from a USB drive. I even grabbed it off my HDD with a live Linux disc once, and it was still fine.

Whether it works or not depends upon what you have done.
If you have used custom game directories in your profiles then you'll have to copy them as well and potentially edit them to be correct after the move.

Moderatoryou could try it and see if it works, won't do any harm if copying and not moving

it might not work because of the versions folder but hey if it doesn't just copy the saves and the server list file
best of luck to you
