Is this an issue with AMD's drivers? I should be getting an average of 200-300 FPS in the game.
However from time to time my FPS dips to as low as 80-90 WITH Optifine, average FPS being 100-120 as it randomly alternates but never goes upwards of 200. I can easily run CS:GO on max settings with 200+ fps, i like to run shaders on 1.7.10 with mods so this issue may affect me for all versions. The only thing worthy of noting is that i was using the realistic terrain generator, but given how i get pretty much the same FPS on vanilla clients & newer versions, it shouldn't have an impact.
I noticed that my GPU Load is average 20% as well. Forge Mods or not, my FPS on vanilla is pretty much the same, weird thing is when i look at the ground my FPS instantly goes to 200-300, when i look at the sky or anywhere else it goes back to being under 180.
