I just got on MC 19.4 after restarting my PC but the sound just doesn't work, when I go on an earlier version the sound works. Is there a bug or something in 1.9.4?
Just check your sound options. If those are fine, if you're using a resource pack you might want to disable it and you should be gold.
Unless... You're not using a resource pack?
