I know I could just uninstall it, but due to my laptop, I can't really play without it.

Everytime I load up a world it looks fine, but then in 5-10 seconds it crashes. Multiplayer and Single player

I have the latest version of Java and my Minecraft is 1.9.4

Please help! I really need optifine to work!!

I had that problem too, but I figured out how to fix it.

Open the Optifine jar file, and click Extract. then you have a second jar file, put that in you mods folder.

the name of the second file, is called OptiFine_1.9_HD_U_B3_MOD.jar
