Your graphics card is actually very low-end compared to the rest of your system, but there's not much you can do about that on a laptop unfortunately.
Try installing fastcraft as well as optifine, and running the game in a non-fullscreen window. Both things should improve your FPS a little (more for the second one) but I wouldn't expect to see more than 35 fps from a system like that.
I have an 840m and 5500U and it holds 60fps 24/7 on max settings. The iGPU should be giving more fps than that too. I would suggest changing the power settings and if that doesn't work make sure you're using the dedicated card. If none of that works, warranty the laptop.

Im getting around 25 fps on my laptop with optifine on lowest settings.
Specs:
16gb of ram
Intel i7 6500u 2.5ghz
Nvidia Geforce 940m
I also allocated more ram, but that doesn't seem to work.
