hi, so i was trying to log onto minecraft a few weeks ago, but then it wouldn't accept my password, and said at the top something like "SSL PEER SHUTDOWN INCORRECTLY", i have looked this up numerous times but so far, no solution has worked... i have tried reinstalling minecraft, reinstalling java, restarting my computer, installing a different version of java... everything... i am now unable to get into my account... can someone PLEASE help!?
(i have thought about my account being hacked, but wouldn't it just say "wrong password" or something...?)
I am having the exact same issue on my daughters computer. I am not having the issue if I start Minecraft from my computer, so I know its not network settings. Both are Windows 10 64 bit machines. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling java, uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft, turning off all virus protection and firewalls, and I still can't get it to work.
I can't understand what is different on her PC! The issue started a little over a week ago and my daughter is really sad that she can't play minecraft anymore!
After spending most of today on this issue the only thing I've gotten to work is to use the Technic launcher. That will launch minecraft just fine, so I guess its not a java or a minecraft game issue, but a minecraft launcher issue of some kind. I'm perplexed, this one is unusual.
