I am trying to set up an Applied Energistics 2 system, and want to power it with the solar generators of Extra Utilities. I figured an ME energy acceptor would do the trick, but I guess the wire running from the generator to the acceptor is wrong? Generators should output in RF, and the acceptor should take RF, among several other types.
But nothing is happening. My setup was generator > wire > acceptor > wire > energy cell.
At first, all wire was fluix glass cable, but it wouldn't even connect to the generator. Then I tried the wire from the Extra utilities mod (can't remember its name) between the generator and acceptor, and still nothing. Then I tried the Basic Universal Cable from Mekanism (I think?) and made slight progress, as now it was pulling power out of the generator, though it didn't seem to be going into the energy cell, and simply disappearing somewhere along the way.
So what am I doing wrong? Is it the cable? Is it some other problem instead?
If it matters, I'm running the modpack To the Stars and Back! through the Technic launcher on 64-bit Windows 10, with 3 gb of ram allocated to Minecraft, of the 8 my computer has.

Curse PremiumThe wire between the generator and the acceptor needs to be a RF cable (of some sort). Do you have Thermal Dynamics or Ender IO installed?

yes, i have both installed. Will any cable from those mods work? Or do I need a specific one?

Curse PremiumThermal Dynamics is a bit easier to craft.
