I bought minecraft a few years ago, cant remember when. I know my username and am not 100% on email or password, i have looked on the support pages on mojang and havent found jack. i know that this is my username and im fairly certain that i have the correct email as i could log onto here and it has the same username. i can log into the mojang website and it says in games that i have minecraft it says i can only play demo. i have tried all my passwords and all the ones that i can remember, even the one for my xbox. I have logged onto minecraft and it says play demo and i have bought it and have had it for a long time, i cant log into the username tho because i have forgotten my password but when i go to recover it i get the same thing, it just changes my mojang account password and i cant log in with my username and so forth. is there a way for me to get my email for my username in any way, like can it send an email because i havent seen anything like this that only uses the username and not email or password. All help would be amazing on this very frustrating topic, please help me get my game back!!
P.S i went looking for the support section on here and i sends me the the fing mojang website so yeah thats why its here.
I see. Did you previously be able to play Minecraft not in demo but rather in full version?
Yes i have bought the game and for atleat 2 years have been able to play it as a full demo even before microsoft bought it, i did also check the migrate to mojang thing but it says the email im trying to migrate to already is in use and when i log onto that, well you saw in the original post

i dont know if im just logging in on a mojang account that isnt attatched to my minecraft account or not and i dont know what email i used for minecraft so thats the problem, i need hat email to do aything. And when i try to migrate account it says Wrong Minecraft username or password. but i reset the password t what i used
If you don't have access to the email that you used to purchase the game then I'm afraid there may not be much you can do. This forum cannot help with account specific issues.
Is there any way for me to find out what email it is linked with but i know what pay pal account was used as it is my dads and we bought it a few years ago tho so i doubt we would be able to find the receipt. any ideas?

Maybe you downloaded the demo edition of Minecraft installer instead of the full game which is classified as the file named "MinecraftInstaller.msi".
I did downloaded the game with the MSI installer thing

Yes i am running windows 10 but my friend is also on windows 10 and he didnt buy it again unless i downloaded the windows 10 version let me go check.
OK on minecraft.net i have to log in adn again it says i dont own the game
