So this isn't the first time I've seen this error.... and based on google it seems it could be a large variety of things causing it. At first I can join my server fine, then next time i go to connect is when it gives the error. Restarting the server and client do not fix it. I think its a problem with the client but i'm not sure so ill post logs for both the client and server.
which ones? and can you tell which exactly is causing problems (or is it unclear due to just how many outdated mods i have)? I just came back to minecraft a couple days ago and updated forge to get another mod i wanted. It makes sense that some or most of these mods have updated by now and might not like newer versions of forge. Thanks for the help.
First update Openmodularturrets, forge and buildcraft.
If it continues, then just go mods one by one, looking them up and comparing version numbers. Or if that is too much, you can always just grab a modpack with the mods you want.
it was buildcraft, thanks! Although i think i'm gonna go on an update spree anyways to fix any other potential bugs that might be waiting to show up. I'd like to ask though, how exactly did you narrow it down to openmodularturrets and buildcraft? Does it mention something about old versions in the log files or were their errors indicating problems with those two? Just curious and haven't really been able to make heads or tails out of the logs myself.

That part said Buildcraft. There was also another error for modular. I also have seen an error about the fluids and forge.
