Hi there, I've ran into quite a problem hosting my modded minecraft server. I have optifine running with several mods and every now and again the game crashes with mcpatcher taking up most of the crash report. I have contacted technical support about how to uninstall/disable mcpatcher but I do not understand quite what I need to do. I've uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft, forge and all of the mods but the crash report still claims McPatcher is responsible. I definitely know I didn't install McPatcher, so how does it keep cropping up? If anyone wouldn't mind telling me how to get rid of McPatcher, it would be greatly appreciated thanks.

PS. The other player who uses my server does not seem to have the crashes despite installing everything the same as me.

Because MCPatcher de facto created standards for extra texture formatting in Minecraft, all expanded texture packs, and mods taht support thenm (like Optifine) will have references to MCPatcher. Even if it's just listing texture file locations.

Mind providing one if these "MCPatcher filled" crash reports/logs?

Okay, so in the server log it states that 'S_Claus lost connection: TranslatableComponent{key='disconnect.genericReason', args=[Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: Connection reset by peer], siblings=[], style=Style{hasParent=false, color=null, bold=null, italic=null, underlined=null, obfuscated=null, clickEvent=null, hoverEvent=null}}'
