For some reason, since about 1.7.10, I could not see any skins. I have used mods before but got rid of all of them. I used to have ad-blocker but removed the extension. All skins are Alex or Steve and heads are the same. I have a Minecraft server so it is port forward, if that makes any difference. Even in single player I cannot see my skin. Does anyone know whats going on? I have not been able to find anything about it online
skins are downloaded from the skin server on demand.
Failures to download skins leave evidence in the game output logs.
Post the logs that occur when a skin doesn't show up.
I left out the stuff that was just the game launching, this is just entering the world

I actually did not notice (I just thought my sound was off) but i was also having sound issues as well, and that was fixed, as well as the skins. My issue was both Relevant Knowledge and Mcafee, both i must have accidentally downloaded at some point when trying to get something else. Now everything seems to be running smoothly. thank you a ton for the help!

At first, did you already have your own skin upon creating your own account?
I did have a skin on my account, and i think that other people are able to see the skin.

Moderatorah good old norton, which is known to be an issue with minecraft, remove norton fully and use an AV that works and is free like Avast

In that case it was the IPv6 issue so try that first.
