I play Minecraft 1.7.2 because all of my mods are for 1.7.2. I want to update them, but in some of my worlds, I've worked pretty hard to collect the mod items for them, and if I update, the items will disappear. I don't want that to happen. I really want to update to 1.8/1.9 soon, but I really don't want to risk losing all of my mod items when I update the mods & Minecraft. Is there any way to do it without losing the items in your worlds? Thank you!
Okay. If I download the 1.8 versions of all the mods and update, and lose all my modwork, it wouldn't work anyways? Because I'm getting pretty sick of 1.7.2's bugs but I really don't want to lose my progress, and if trying to update doesn't even work, I don't see the point in giving up all my worlds when I can't update.
Alright. I have MCA but rebuilding families is easier than re-breeding every horse in MoCreatures. I think I can probably give up my progress if I update.
