Sorry if this is more about the display than it is about Minecraft, I just copied this out of another forum post I made elsewhere and pasted it here:
So I got a Mini display port to vga adapter to connect to an older monitor, it works fine, until I want to play Minecraft on it, then Minecraft just spazzes out and my POV goes all over the place and I get anywhere from 60 to 2 frames per second. I drag Minecraft over to my laptop screen and it works just fine, I drag it back over to my secondary monitor and it starts spazzing out again. I would screen record it for you, but I can't, the screen recorder works fine on the second monitor, until you boot up Minecraft and then it just shows a blur of horizontal stripes corresponding to the general color along that horizontal line. And when this secondary display is connected, Chrome, on my primary monitor, has a black segment across the toolbar and the top part of the webpage with small, white vertical stripes in there. HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP.

Can you post the evidence which is that while you're playing Minecraft with that issue, aside from the GPU specifications?
