The launcher launches but when I press play, the launcher goes away for a second and then shows back up and I get this:

I updated java and it worked for a day but the next time i turned my pc on and tried to play it gave me the same message again.
Don't worry about it. This particular issue still has an air of mystery about it.
There are two programs that start Java up (java.exe and javaw.exe) and for some people one of them (javaw.exe) doesn't like the command line being passed in even though there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with it.

Can you post the console log what caused the Minecraft to crash?
I replaced the text and it started right up, thank you for the assistance. I don't have too much experience with crashes and technical issues
