Hello, I am trying to run Minecraft in linux but its now working
Here is the full commandline log:
[TheDcoder@localhost Downloads]$ java -jar Minecraft.jar
Exception in thread "main" java.awt.HeadlessException

I downloaded Minecraft.jar from the official minecraft website.
As a fellow Linux user I'd suggest installing Oracle Java instead of OpenJDK. I've always gotten less stable FPS, random glitches and crashes using OpenJDK.

Trust me it's well worth it, I ended up getting about 12 more fps and stopped having such frequent freezes and memory leaks. OpenJDK is good but the project just doesn't have the budget that Oracle has. It's no harder to install than Open anymore so there's little reason not to use it. It use to be a bit of a pain for Debian (and Debian based distro) users as they had to deal with the tarball but there's a PPA for them now so it's a simple matter for anyone.

Oh
What is the package name of Oracle Java?

You'll have to download the file off Oracles site ( http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html )but it's an easy install, just download the Linux X64 .rpm. You probably know what to do from there but just in case. https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/59412/sticky-how-do-i-install-oracle-java/
