So I would like to play 1.9 but that's gonna be pretty hard if the game crashes whenever I take damage xD. I thought it might have been Optifine but I tried it without it and it did the same thing and all the other versions of Minecraft are fine so I have no idea. Also it didn't even crash like normal. It didn't stop responding. It just froze and I had to close Minecraft with Task Manager. I am on PC btw. If anyone knows a possible solution, I'm all ears.

some of your sound files are corrupted (obviously those for player damage). reinstall minecraft should fix it, but remeber to save your world before deleting it
