After trying run "java -jar Minecraft.jar" Inside my terminal, I got to a screen and waited for a few minutes, and it stalled. I'm have been trying to look for suggestions around the internet, but it appears that none of these have worked. I know it can bootstrap because I tried it this morning on freebsd and the freebsd version gave me an lwjg error, which I assumed was just freebsd being derpy. In all due respect to the minecraft team, I am quite tired of minecraft not working with linux/freebsd derivatives. I'd really like to ask for a refund of this game now that it is supported by microsoft. As much as I give you guys credit for mojang creating an amazing game, it's really not that good support wise after microsoft got the money to support this. According to the documents on this page (which severely needs updating) : https://minecraft.net/download it says for linux "The jar is executable and should work as-is, also please use Oracle's JVM." over the past year, I have experienced many issues regarding Minecraft and Linux. I'd just like to point out that it's no longer fun for me to search the web every month or so to figure out the new update that glitches the linux MC, forcing me to restart my entire world. As someone who has had minecraft since alpha to pre-alpha, I'd like a refund for false advertisement.
