I recently upgraded an old laptop to Windows 10 and now can't get Minecraft to run. It says to download a new chipset, but the chipset won't download. Followed the directions on the pixel format not accelerated page and copied dxdiag to ubuntu paste here: http://paste.ubuntu.com/15821010/
Unfortunately your graphics hardware is not supported on Windows 10, you will need to downgrade to Windows 7, upgrade your graphics hardware (Not possible on a laptop), or use another computer to play Minecraft.
Thanks for the reply. I had pretty much already come to that conclusion by the time I saw this. I am trying to downgrade this back to its original Vista. Thanks!
