Hi everyone, I am in desperate need of some help. I have been trying for the last three hours or so to get minecraft to work properly with no luck.
So here is my problem, when I try and load (vanilla 1.9) I get a weird looking splash screen (loadscreen photo that's attached), and then a weird graphics bug with colors that flicker (screenshot 1). I can also hear the music from in game. I can click and hear the sound of the buttons on the menu being clicked which changes the colors of the screen , if I click around some it crashes, but it's hard to know if I just hit the exit button. Any idea what's going on here?
I uninstalled and re-installed java, the game (multiple times), hard reset, reset the options, messed around with making sure it was pulling from my nvidia GPU and not the integrated one, and just about anything else that I could find on the web. Any help would be amazing. Thanks.
Here's my info, let me know if you need anything else
because it's not exactly a crash I don't have a crash report
Yeah that's the weird part I update regularly, and in fact updated yesterday to the newest drivers via intels update utility. could it be that it didn't fully remove the old ones?
Ahh you are on the right track, I just spent the better part of 45 mins tracking down the driver and where there was an error. I have since updated it and it now runs correctly!! Thanks so much!! all of the internet points to you good sir or madam!

not sure what is going on
Also I have a non-integrated GPU, shouldn't that be the one that is interacting with the game (I'd set it up to within nvidia's control panel)?
