So, modding Minecraft on my own for the first time since early beta, and it has gone swimmingly aside from one mod, Thaumcraft. Now, previously, I had an issue where it wouldn't launch, but that was fixed when I realized that I didn't have the one for 1.7.10, when I thought I did. Now I do have the correct version - 4.3.5 - and it no longer crashes. In fact it no longer seems to even acknowledge the existence of Thaumcraft.
I have Forge installed, no issues there, as it's able to load the 25 other mods I have installed. None of these mods should be incompatible, as I have played them together in modpacks before. Forge doesn't seem to attempt to load Thaumcraft, either.
So here's my process: I put it in the mods folder, as installation says. Doesn't seem to work though.. If necessary, I can provide a list of my installed mods in case there actually is an incompatibility at all. Do I have to have something installed to make it recognize Thaumcraft is there or something?

I've fixed everything, apparently. A few issues, but now it seems to be working fine. Thanks for the attempt to help.
