So I have Minecraft 1.9.2 with the correct version of Optifine with shader support and am on Mac
Whenever I download a shader pack (sildurs for example) I get a regular folder (not a .zip) called shaders with all the files within.
I convert this folder to a .zip (as instructed in another forum) and put it in the shaderpacks folder and the shader appears in the list in video settings - but when I select it no change occurs, the game looks the same.
All shader packs do this and I can't get any result from them, not sure why.
I've packed it the way you described but it doesn't work still, is this a video card issue? The developer of the shader stated that it should work on all platforms
