For 1.9, there have been a couple problems I would like to report.
So before, I was using Minecraft 1.8.9 and everything was going just fine, until I moved to 1.9 for a couple of minutes because a server was only compatible with 1.9.
After I tried to go back to 1.8.9, it wouldn't work and minecraft (Java) wouldn't open.
I need immediate help, because my server is under work and we have to get it done soon.
