I have had my HP Pavilion laptop for 2 or 3 years now, and last July, I installed Windows 10. I never had a problem with the update. I could play Minecraft, edit videos, and do anything that I could do before I installed Windows 10. The other day, however I noticed that my computer's brightness would not adjust. So, to fix the problem, I opened the Run program, typed in devmgmt.msc, and updated my computer's display adapter, which was Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. That did not fix the problem. So, I thought it may have been an issue that can be fixed by restarting your computer. In the meantime, I opened Minecraft, hit "Play," and was given a crash report that told me that my PC lacked updated graphics drivers. This is a link to my DxDiag information, and this is a link to my crash report. Also, since I updated my PC's Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, my computer has been running a lot more slowly. The images attached tell you my computer summary and the Minecraft error. Please help me fix my computer, if it's possible!
You will have to contact HP, when i look for drivers on the HP website for that product model number it says 'We were unable to find any drivers for your product. Drivers may be in development so please check back at a later date or visit the product homepage.'

The whole text log from AFTER you used the provided AMD installer.
So, I thought I should try to update the drivers again, and a magic trick happened. Somehow, the AMD drivers downloaded from doing that, instead from using the actual installer, so now everything works (I'm pretty sure). Except for when it comes to changing my PC's brightness, but I'm not going to play around with that again.

I did post the whole log, unless there's more that I don't know about. This is a link to it here so you don't have to scroll up to the original post.
