So? Just post the launcher log, it'll show failed attempts to download all those sounds, and hopefully we can figure out what's wrong from those error messages.
I know that this doesn't really help, but is there any way that the sound errors and the texture error could be related in any way?
Also, does your computer have an anti-virus? This could be a virus you obtained from somewhere that deleted a random folder, which happened to be a sound folder, or something along those lines.

Stop trying to cherry pick data when you have no idea what is or what is not important. The fact that an error happened is interesting (what you posted). The WHY it happened is important (what you didn't post).
It turned out to be malware that was blocking my skin. I deleted it using bitdefender and now my skin works. Also it replaced mcafe when I installed it.

most likely something is blocking your client's connections to the skin server.
there should be error messages appearing in the game output.

you didn't do anything that triggered a need for a skin.
But that's okay. I can see that you have no sound either.
Those errors should happen every time you launch and be visible in the launcher log tab.
I was using a snapshot when the launcher text formed.
So? Just post the launcher log, it'll show failed attempts to download all those sounds, and hopefully we can figure out what's wrong from those error messages.

I know that this doesn't really help, but is there any way that the sound errors and the texture error could be related in any way?
Also, does your computer have an anti-virus? This could be a virus you obtained from somewhere that deleted a random folder, which happened to be a sound folder, or something along those lines.

start with the IPv4 jvm argument, since that was their problem.

It turned out to be malware that was blocking my skin. I deleted it using bitdefender and now my skin works. Also it replaced mcafe when I installed it.
Something other than RelevantKnowledge?
