Hey there! I decided to try posting in the hopes that someone could help walk me through this darn error message that I keep receiving. I have uninstalled and re-installed Java. Uninstalled and re-installed Minecraft. I am losing my mind! I am not exactly computer savvy so maybe this problem is not as challenging as it is? I have no idea though. The message below is what I continue to receive.

Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: Using incremental CMS is deprecated and will likely be removed in a future release
I have looked everywhere online and cannot find an answer that works. This laptop is only a few months old and was brand new when I bought it so I wouldn't think it's a problem with it. I really don't know though. Could someone please help? I can offer up any extra info if I missed something, just ask. P.S. I am really sorry if I posted this in the wrong area, as I said before, I am very new to this! Thanks and hope to hear from someone soon! <3
Thank you gerbil, after sifting through some more threads I was able to find the answer...May I say though, the slight rudeness was not necessary. Not everyone knows the forums as well as you do. In any case, thank you.

Maybe you should look on THIS website.
RIght at the top where it says 1.9 FAQ (READ BEFORE POSTING).

SInce 1.9 came out, literally dozens and dozens of people have come with this problem.
There's a reason it is in FAQ.
I think its rude of people to impose on volunteers without even attempting to help themselves first.
People who actually need individual attention have their problems drowned under the dozens of "me too" posts.
