I don't have forge and I am using optifine. No sound is coming from my minecraft, but it is coming from other parts of my computer. f3+s/t doesn't work, I tried restarting minecraft multiple times and it isnt working. I have tried taking off my resource packs and putting them back on, and nothing does anything. Help?
Are you using 1.9? I use 1.9 and my sound NEVER works so i guess you will have to ask Mojang to bring in a sound bug fixing update. Sorry cant help more than that. ):

Check your minecraft settings.
