Ok so when I was playing in 1.8.9 I had no problem with lag and I could have fun doing whatever I wanted on minecraft. So the snapshot comes out and I try it out and suddenly boom I can't even get though a door its so laggy. I think ok this is just the snapshot it'll be okay when 1.9 comes out. NOPE it's the same thing. I get 1-2 frames per second and I cant play the game. It's beyond laggy its unbearable! I've tried everything in the minecraft settings from render distance to particles but the lag wont go away! PLEASE help me I really wanna play 1.9! Suggestions are so welcome on this thread they are beyond welcome! I need something...anything to fix this lag! (ps Please help me D:.....)
Mine is So laggy also. I can't even play. I get 1 frame per second. I have Windows 10 download on my Windows 8 PC. I don't know how to fix this lag. I even downloaded optifine and it is still no difference. Help people
The chunk generation and unloading code in 1.9 needs reworking, hopefully Mojang is working on that now. For the moment, the best you can do about the insane 1.9 lag is update all your java versions and graphics drivers, lower your render distance, and turn on VSync and VBOs in your graphics options. Don't be afraid to ask if you need help understanding any of those.

Curse PremiumYou can give Minecraft more RAM through the launcher. Also make sure that your video drivers are up to date.
