I have a decent laptop that is currently running windows. For a long time Minecraft gave me a lot of fps. But when i launched Minecraft even on the title screen, I get 1 FPS. I get 60 FPS with CS:GO. How does Minecraft only give 1 FPS? How Can I fix this?
Don't try comparing Minecraft to games like CSGO they're using Direct X for graphics while Minecraft uses the older (inferior) OpenGL. If 60 FPS is all your getting in CSGO I'd say 20 or so is the best you'd get in Minecraft. I'm not too sure why your getting drops to 1 FPS but you should try lowering your allocated RAM to 1GB first to see if that fixes it.

I get 60 fps on CSGO with vsync on. Or else i get about 80-100 FPS. I tried allocating 1 gb of ram to minecraft but still i have the same issue.
