I recently attempted to transfer a Minecraft save from another computer to this one via Dropbox, it worked and showed up in MC, i had my inventory, but non of the structures i created showed up. the file looks intact but i don't know much. Please help!?!

The "save " is everything in and under that directory. Did you move everything, or just level.dat ?
I moved the whole file, which became a .zip file, i unpacked it, and it showed up, just without what i had worked on
It isn't A whole file. It's dozens and dozens of files. If you didn't get them all, your didn't get the whole thing.
Yah, thats what i meant. but it was all compiled under the a folder titled the same as the world, thats what i meant by the whole file.
well maybe some of the chunks are corrupted. Corrupted chunks are regenerated from the seed, so they look like you've never been there.
Your minecraft was closed when you tried to copy your save, right? If it was running then the save was being modified
i closed it out, pasted the folder where it should be, then opened mc back up. so yes
dunno then.
okay, thanks anyways. ill just use a usb next time, cuz that worked out for me when i used it
