I've been searching online and trying many solutions, but none seem to work for me. Some attempts included setting System Environment Variables or running in compatibility mode. I was able to start it after doing a system restore to prior to a critical Windows update, but it is simply not an option to attempt this every time. I was able to get it working yesterday for a little bit when I reinstalled, but this no longer works. What can I do to fix this?
EDIT: Here's the crash log. It hasn't been updated since 2014, which I assume is because Minecraft isn't crashing; it's never starting.

Here it is. The last modified date was in 2014, probably because Minecraft isn't crashing; it's not starting at all.
If you are talking about in the crash report, the crash was from 2014. I played Minecraft a lot until a few weeks ago. But I will show you the log in case you are referring to something beyond that:
why post a crash report thats nothing to do with the current issue and from 2014?
your issue is java, its crashing, remove java fully and reinstall it, or if you don't use java outside of playing minecraft, remove java and run the minecraft.msi which installs java for you just for minecraft

I'm posting reports that people ask for, while disclaiming that they are most likely useless. Maybe somebody knows better than me and some information is useful, or I will prove my point that the fault isn't in a certain place. I have removed and reinstalled Java with multiple versions to different drives a few times. I've used the packaged uninstaller and even more in depth tools like JavaRA. I have no idea what else to try.
BEX64 appears to be a system error related to Data Execution Prevention (a kind of windows process security), and probably means that something corrupted the JVM process's stack. Unintentionally this is a bug, Intentionally this is a attack. Probably it's a bug, and it has to be in the JVM itself
(unlikely) or in a DLL. Most likely DLL is then one that really shouldn't be there. There are lots of programs that do DLL injection in order to "help" you.

Thank you! I believe it is AVG that is causing me issues.
I disabled a bunch of things one at a time and tried to start Minecraft between each. Oddly I first ended on Google Play's Music Manager. I restarted and tried to disable it again, but Minecraft wouldn't run. Second try I got Battle.NET to be my "solution". Then I restarted and tried to disable AVG, wait a few minutes, then Minecraft ran successfully. I'm assuming it lingers a little bit after I click "disable protection". But anyways, I appreciate the help.

What do you mean by console log? And I updated Java today, which didn't help. This is what it output when I checked the version in the command prompt.

Can we give this another try?
