Hi all. I haven't played Minecraft for a few months but recently wanted to get back into it. All of a sudden the game crashes before I can play. I've searched the forums for a solution to similar problems but nothing has worked for me so far. What happens is when I try to play one of my old save games, or start a new world, the loading screen comes up, then I see the cross hair, inventory bar, and an all blue screen (like none of the terrain loads) then the whole game crashes and brings me to the error page on the launcher.
Here's what I've tried:
-Updating my graphics card (I have an AMD radeon if it matters)
-Uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft
-Uninstalled and reinstalled Java (64 bit)
-Launching Minecraft as administrator
-Making new worlds, loading old worlds, joining a friends server (all with the same outcome)

Update: I just tried loading an older version of the game (1.8.9) and it worked. So the issue seems to be with the 1.9 update.
