I created a resource pack and changed some textures. The resource pack loads properly, but the textures aren't different when I play the game. I tried combinations of reloading the resource pack and restarting the game, but I haven't tried using somebody else's resource pack yet. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Sometimes I wonder why people post their stories here.

You are doing it (something) wrong.

What else do you expect to find here? Someone who will start an interactive tutorial on how to do texture packs here in the forum?

You have provided ZERO information about your problem except that whatever you are doing doesn't work.

Maybe if you posted a link to your bad texture pack then someone who knows texture packs could tell you why yours is broken.

But the FIRST thing you should have done is tried a known good resource pack. Something you admit you haven't done.

Then you try to figure out what's different about YOUR resource pack and the one that works.
