I tried searching if this is a common problem, but I did not see anything. I have mostly played Minecraft on the PS4, but today I decided to buy and try the PC version. I always used the Keep Inventory and Mob Griefing options on my console games, so I made it a priority to enable these on the PC. These are the codes I am using:
The game gives me text confirmations for both codes when entered. Keep Inventory is working just fine, but Mob Griefing is not and it is driving me bonkers. I have no mods installed and I just downloaded and installed Minecraft on this PC for the first time, ever. But, Creeper explosions are still destroying my stuff and Endermen are picking up blocks.
Is this some sort of problem that some people encounter and is there a fix? I really just want to disable block damage from Creeper Explosions. I have a background in coding, so maybe somebody can point me in the direction to disable block damage from Creeper Explosions in the files? I would really prefer to do this without mods.

Thank you for your time.
Bah, ignore this thread. It seems to be working now after a client reset.
