Alright, so Sphax Pure BD Craft is by far my favorite resource pack, I have used it for years, and want to continue using it. I kind of recently purchased a computer that should easily be able to run Sphax 512x512. I tried running R3D.Craft 512x512 and it worked perfectly, but Sphax does not seem to work for whatever reason. As soon as I switch from Sphax 256x256 to Sphax 512x512, Minecraft takes a bit to load the textures and then rather than displaying the high-resolution glorious Sphax textures, it shows the default Minecraft ones. My computer runs Fallout 4 on max settings just fine, so I don't think that my computer is the problem. I have 8 GB of RAM allocated to Minecraft

If you dont have optifine, get it, and if you have mods, dont use them
