Yes, it's me again, and I'm back with another issue. When I started playing Minecraft yesterday (1.9 on an iMac that runs OS X), I logged onto a multiplayer server and saw that skins weren't showing up. At all. By at all, I mean mine wasn't there, as well as anyone else's. Even the server's NPC skins weren't working. I've had this problem in the past, and I've fixed it easily by changing my skin on minecraft.net, but it has come back and, even though I've changed my skin, the problem is still here. Any help that anyone can give me?

I've had the problem for a while now. It started in the 1.9 snapshots, so I thought it was just a bug with them. But no, none of my skins are working in the 1.9 full release either...
My skins do work in 1.8 however. I'm hoping it's just a glitch with 1.9 that will be resolved soon. Interestingly, I'm the only one on my server of 20 members that has this problem.
What I did to fix this problem was re-install the entire game. It won't change any of your current progress, but it will help out with that. I think there's something with the 1.9 game that just makes it so that if you re-install it's like a fresh start. Not sure if this is accurate, but it helped.

I found a fix to this. Have you changed your username before? You should try changing your profile name on the Minecraft "starter" tab to your current name if it's not already. That's what fixed it for me!

If you are got your own server, please post the server log
The plugin 'NPC' can easily fail by downloading skins. It will be back when you are relogging or something.
