Hi everyone. Today, I just transferred one of my survival worlds onto a new computer. Everything seems to be fine, except one thing. Everything in my ender chest is gone. I was wondering if there was a way to fix that or not because I don't want to have to get all the diamonds I had before and all of my good armor. Also, everything that was on my player (armor and in my inventory) is gone too. Thanks for any help!
You inventory is stored in level.dat of a single player world.
You moved that right?
Opening a world in an older version of minecraft can cause all inventory and chest items to disappear because Older versions of minecraft don't understand item format changes that happened in "the future".
You didn't open a 1.8 or newer world in a version before 1.8 did you?
You likely didn't transfer your item data. I'm not sure if it's the same with single player, but on servers there's a thing called player.dat that you'll need to move if you're transferring. It might be the same with single player, I'm not entirely sure. Good luck though.

The last time I played it was in 1.7.4 and now I just opened it in 1.8.8.
