I have the full version of Fraps and Optifine running on Minecraft v1.8.9 (I can give Optifine settings if needed.).
Fraps crashes after I've opened Minecraft joined a server and started recording ~ 1 minute of recording time later everything freezes and Minecraft crashes. Any ideas? I can send the crash report too if needed.
Here's my specs:
Windows 10 64bit (My Java is 64bit. All my applications and programs are 64bit.)

If you did not know, fraps does not get along nicely with windows 10 (and 8 also I think). Several bugs resulting in crashes occurs when fraps is used with newer devices. I don't know if this is the main cause of your issue, but it's something to think about. This is why many are moving away from fraps to other recording softwares (I can't think of any, cause I don't record. Is OBS a recording software?). You should try using different software.

I'm a IT but like I said I just wasn't aware of what seems to be common knowledge about this problem... That's why i made the thread. Anyways thanks again!

I have the full version of Fraps and Optifine running on Minecraft v1.8.9 (I can give Optifine settings if needed.).
Fraps crashes after I've opened Minecraft joined a server and started recording ~ 1 minute of recording time later everything freezes and Minecraft crashes. Any ideas? I can send the crash report too if needed.
Here's my specs:

If you did not know, fraps does not get along nicely with windows 10 (and 8 also I think). Several bugs resulting in crashes occurs when fraps is used with newer devices. I don't know if this is the main cause of your issue, but it's something to think about. This is why many are moving away from fraps to other recording softwares (I can't think of any, cause I don't record. Is OBS a recording software?). You should try using different software.

I'm a IT but like I said I just wasn't aware of what seems to be common knowledge about this problem... That's why i made the thread. Anyways thanks again!
