So, recently I watched my friend load up her modded world, and not only did it load faster, it had three progress bars that filled up as it loaded, with the percent and everything. I'm not sure if this happens with her regular world. On my launcher, it takes around 6-7 mins to load (around 43 mods) and the loading screen is a glitched version of whatever is on my desktop or other tabs. Also, it might be a launcher thing as I only got Minecraft last year, but she got it two-three years ago. If anyone knows how to make it load faster, make my modded world run smoother (I already have optifine) and maybe change it to her launcher, any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
What you saw is Forge loading screen. Introduced over a year ago to all Forge versions newer then ~1390. It generally should be disabled on Macs due to Apple's horrible graphical drivers that often interfere with it.
World loading time is fully dependant on your PC's specs and game setup and has nothing to do with launcher choice.
So, there is nothing I can do to change it to what my friends is?
