1. Today has been very interesting. Originally it started with having an issue with connecting to an Open LAN. I kept getting the below when trying to connect to my son's world.
- java.net.connectexception connection timed out
I tried a number of things, but it still was occurring.
2. On the same computer I get the below when trying to get into a singleplayer world. See attached image
3. When it did work to get into a singleplayer world the graphics wouldn't render. I've seen others complain about this.
I tried the steps in the 1.9 FAQ and it didn't help #2 and #3. That's actually when #3 started happening. This is why I posted because the steps provided didn't work.

# 1 is a firewall issue most likely on the host machine
#2 & #3 are probably related and the fix is in the 1.9 FAQ at the top of the forum.

I'll look into the firewall issue.
