Hi! For the past few weeks, my minecraft is experiencing what I like to call "hell". It started off as a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death), then minecraft didn't want to boot. Instead, what I got was cmd, saying "Not enough Memory." I reinstalled minecraft (with .minecraft) and tried it again. Thankfully, the launcher could now open. Only to find that "Invalid access to Memory Location" was trying to torture me. I kept reinstalling, hoping I could try possibly fixing the issue. I then gave up. But then an idea dawned upon me: I could system restore before the BSOD. I performed it, and reinstalled minecraft once more. It kept crashing again, till I noticed this was the new error message: lwjgl.dll: %1 is not a valid Win32 application.
I've tried EVERYTHING possible to try fix this. I want to go over my pc specs and see if this can help.
I'm using a Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 3 (I've been running minecraft with this easily, I don't see why this is a problem.)
Now some ACTUAL specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU
177250 @ 2.00GHz
1.99 GHz, 3.49 GB of RAM
Physical Address Extension
Also, I do know there is a slight chance of RAM problems, and MC needs 1 GB of ram. But however, this will be my last attempt. If I need to buy a new PC, please don't cut that at me. I'd like to see a few other options beforehand, to save some money, and make it least technical as possible.
Thank you once more! (P.S, I run Minecraft Premium, so don't worry about that.)
