Im not sure where to put this, please don't kill me for posting it here I just want to see if anyone else is having this problem. For around three months I was building a map for a server with a texture pack, its a 32x32 pack. I used it with no isses, I didn't have to do anything special to install it. Fast Forward to yesterday when I load up the texture pack (it has been about four months since I last loaded it up) it dropped my FPS to 1. I have a good laptop, its not my hardware because I was able to load this pack just fine with no lag whatsover. I have no changed any settings whatsover, the ONLY thing I have done is updated java which makes me think this is a java problem.
I have reinstalled java well over 5 times now hoping it would solve the problem but nothing seems to fix it! What is going on here? Why was I able to run it just fine and now it kills my FPS? Am I downloading the wrong java?
