So I started my own server and ran It and made it pretty cool! After a month or two it was doing excellent. Then one day I went to my friends house and ran the server off of my computer and it worked (I Tried to Port forward but no luck and tried changing the No-Ip external Ip) We played for hours then when I went home and changed the Ip's back and everything I couldn't join ANY minecraft servers, PERIOD. It just failed trying to ping them. I have looked all over Google but no luck. I made sure my computer could ping minecraft servers like skywars.com with the command "ping skywars.com" in CMD and I disabled firewall and allowed minecraft and java through, no luck. I changed my DNS settings, no luck. I reinstalled minecraft and java, no luck. Restarted my router, no luck. Please help as much as you can. I can still join my server through the Ipv4 and the port but not the Ip i have gotten from No-Ip, and that won't work. please help!
Edit: Actually I solved it! All ports where blocked in my router settings. Don't Know how this came to be... but all servers are working again! If you have this problem make sure to check you router's ipv4 and ipv6 firewalls are not blocking external Ip's
