About a week ago I purchased and installed Minecraft. The thing is that at some point I tried a few skins to check that subject out. Everything went ok, but at some point something happened and now my skin was forced to be Alex's. A skin I never tried. In fact, all my tries were Steve-based. I think I tried everything. Reset the skin on my profile, uploaded a default Steve skin, reinstall the game. Nothing. Is there any known problem with the servers? Is there something I'm not seeing or doing wrong? I'd like to know here first if something known is happening before trying to contact Mojang.
