So I am allocating more memory to minecraft (4G) I untick the box close the profile editor menu then I go back and it's back to 1G I have also tried leaving the jvm arguments ticked and it my game crashes
What launcher are you using? Some third party launchers don't allow changes to the Mojang launcher. Changes are made through the Options/Settings in the third party launcher.
