I was playing minecraft with my friend and he was kicked from a server. However it logged him out of minecraft and he is now unable to log back on. It says incorrect username/password when he tries to log on to the client or the website. He even changed his password, receiving the same results.

How does getting kicked from a server log you out of the client?
