So I am currently trying to play 1.9 (release) on my school toaster laptop. I'm noticing INSANE lags, much more than in 1.8. I used to play w/ 1.9 snapshots, also noticed similar amounts of lags as release. (thought it would lag less after the snapshot)
Here are some screenshots down below. The settings are mostly similar- Everything turned down except render distance and framerate, which was left at the default settings. (taken at Hypixel skywars lobby)

Yes, They are both pretty bad framerate. but it dropped from 30 to 2...
So my specs are: (yes I know that this spec is very similar to my toaster but it actually does not lag for 1.9 - also saving up to build a pc)
Acer Travelmate P446 series
Intel i5-5200U 2.2GHZ
6 Gigs o' ram
Intel HD Graphics 5500 :/
Does anyone here know how to fix this? I have reinstalled Minecraft multiple times, on Vanilla launcher, ATL and MultiMC. Tried lowering settings even more. Nothing works.
