I want to make use of my gpu because i play csgo max settings no problem .
I tried putting the minecraft.exe and javaws.exe in amd catalysts 3D application settings no changes.
Id like to include my cpu is clockdd at 900mhz out of 1.6ghz i do not know why it does that.
For a fact if the game would run the gpu instead of cpu power it would run 300fps so i can use shaders and ik 60fps is max blah blah blah but its my preference ok?
If you got confused my main question is how can i get my minecraft to launch on my gpu i do not have a switchable graphics option.
Actually, in 1.9 I can stay at a very stable 32 chunks at 60fps with my aforementioned specs. It runs a lot better on my weaker laptop too (6gb, quad 2.3ghz, integrated Radeon graphics), about 10 chunks stable 60fps.
Seems to have been optimized quite a lot

Yes I know that but I dont want my cpu to handle the rendering and animations i want my gpu to do it.
I have no igpu my dedi gpu is my only display adapter.
Minecraft is running on your GPU, and the GPU is rendering everything.
It still uses your CPU, everything does. It uses it even more since it's Java.
A 900 mhz CPU should be playing Bananoid and Commander Keen, and a 1.6ghz one still isn't enough.
Aside from an upgrade, sadly, there's nothing really you can do, the hardware is simply too old.
Also, your GPU would not run MC at 300fps, nor shaders at 60.
It's an 850mhz 1gb card, and you could get 60fps vanilla, and probably around 15-20 with shaders.
For reference, my 1150mhz, 2gb card (paired with a 6-core 4.1ghz CPU and 16gb ram, 8gb to mc) can run shaders at 60fps, and vanilla at around 200.

Retired Stafflower your render distance, to 16 from 32 , Don't use above 16 , unless you have like tons of ram (more than 32gb) and a very hefty CPU or 3 . lol
